To develop in total 5 imagers for the application areas automotive, medical, broadcast, safety/security and professional Digital Still Camera.
To demonstrate the improved performance of the CMOS imagers in an automotive, medical and broadcast application.
To research and develop HDR principles with linear and logarithmic CMOS pixels including 3D ToF image acquisition.
To design high resolution, HDR CMOS imagers with global shuttering, high sensitivity, and high image quality.
To improve image quality by new correction algorithms and methods accompanied by optimizing the lens imager system.
To enable the easy use and re-use of the developed CMOS imager technologies in different high-end applications.
